Just a quickie here..hehe..what 4x media burns at 8x with this drive. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated...

I know the term "nigga" is common slang in some circles but it shouldn't be used on an international site, aight.

Ritek G04's might be worth a try - they burn at 8X in my Plextor PX-708A.

You should've put that in your sig then lol!

Expanding on my previous recommendation, I've found that 4X +R's made by RICOHJPN burn very nicely at 8X in my 708A. I just bought a spindle of RiDATA and a 10 pack of TDKs (both 4X +R) that ID as RICOHJPN.

Have you checked to see if LiteOn's website has a list of recommended media for 8X?
