Recently the KAZAA Start Page began offering the 'Newest Version' of Kazaa (V2) - Some of these features are said to be
offered with the latest installment ~

*NEW FEATURES* for Kazaa V2

SHARED PLAYLIST - Create Unique shared playlists and search for
other KMD users playlists.

INTEGRITY RATING - Files labeled by peers according to technical
quality and completeness of meta data to enhance reliability.

PARTICIPATION LEVEL - Frequent KMD users and those who frequently
rate files rewarded with higher priority in download queues.

--- Now these are the 3 new features I'm most interested in.

Can anyone offer their knowledge or opinions
of these new features ?

Has anyone here tried / used these new features or V2 ?

Any information will be greatly appreciated,

Don't even talk about the playlist cause i wouldn't be intersted at all.

The Integrity rating is an excellent idea. If there is a movie on kazaa and you download it, i turns out to be a fake, you can rate it bad and noone else will get caught with it.

The participation level is also a good idea. It seems to increase as you make the number of shared files larger and offer a bigger bandwidth and more aloud simultaneos uploads. You can tell if someone is really a good sharer or just there to download and couldn't be bothered sharing.

on your take of Rating bad files -
How long have You been using the new version
and features ?

I'm still not sure how the 'Shared Playlist'
work - If you understand what they mean when
they say "Create Unique shared playlists and search for other KMD users playlists" please
explain ~

I thought We were sharing unique playlists
already *

Basically if you searched a bands name using playlists in the search option, you might find a list from an album or several albums somebody has. After you download the playlist, if you try to play any of the songs on it that you don't have, it will automatically download.
