dvd shrink/nero not working

don't know what i'm doing but used dvd shrink to compress and have nero demo version which shrink went to and burned automatically. disk won't play. i can use shrink to analyze copied disk and movie is on it but won't play. should i just use decrypter to burn?

This sounds like a problem with your media. If you can read the disc, the information is there. I don't know what the difference would be by burning it with Decrypter. Check your DVD player specification and see if the thing is compatable with the media format you are using. (-R or +R)

i thought it may be the player but it won't run in my computer either. i'm using dvd+rw, should i try dvd+r instead?

Ive backed up quite a few using tdk +rw and DVD Shrink without any problems. Just a stab in the dark but maybe something to do with Nero demo.

thanks, i'll give the decrypter a try and see if it is the demo. otherwise i may actually have to get off my wallet and get Nero.

If it is the demo version causing your problem maybe you should check out the file sharing forum on this site and perhaps get yourself a program such as eMule.
