Hello all, I'm new to the whole digital camera/camcorder field and I want to stop using those old "VHS cameras". I am looking into purchasing my first DCC. However, I do not know anything, and need your help by suggesting what DCC I should get based on this...

1) Below $600
2) High Quality Pictures/Video
3) High Quality Low Light ( Night vision )
4) Able to take pictures too
5) Good amount of digital zoom.
