XBMC no playing DVDs?

i copied over the latest version of Xbox Media Center and its awsome but I can't seen to play dvd's from it. I can play DVD's using RegionX dvd player. Anyone got any ideas why?

I've got a xecuter 2.3b lite [+] mod chip
120 gig HDD
and 1.5 version of the xbox
xecuter bios

I rember seeing a demo of XBMC and it was able to play dvd's no problem.
