I have recently discovered that it is possible to use Nero's recode programme to backup an entire DVD onto one CD (not DVD) with amazingly good AV quality. I believe this format is MPEG 4 or Nero digital which I believe is also Xvid compatible. It plays back fine on my PC using Nero showtime only but will not play on my standalone player (or if I use other software on my PC). I do not have MPEG playback on my standalone player so is this the reason it will not play or is Nero digital only playable on PC? Thanks in advance folks.
