My DVD's Freeze and crash when played in my Stand alone DVD player.

Sorry I am a newbee to this.

Using CloneDVD i have successfully backed up some DVDs on my Dell DVD+RW. I have been using "infinity" DVDR+. When I play them in my stand alone Aiwa XD-DV480, they initially seem alright, but then afer about10 minutes in to the movie the picture starts to freeze and eventually crashes.This happens at random and not at certain points on the movie! I have searched other forums and found that this make of DVD player does support DVD+. The DVDs I've created play fine on my PC.

Could this be the type of DVD+R media that I use. can anyone recomend a better brand of media for this player? shoudl I change my player?

To Backup ur DVDz ur better off to use DVD Shrink and Nero to burn.

2nd, it could be the type of DVD+R ur using.

Wat brand of DVD+R r u using ???

The brand is probably a large part of the problem. Also, are you sticking labels on your dvd's? Had a friend that did this and had the movie start skipping and crash at random times.

Definitely give better media such as Ritek G04 or Verbatim AZO a try. The problems you're having are the classic sypmtoms of poor quality media.

CloneDVD is a fine program.
