On some DVD Rips I get errors in certain VOB's. This only happens 1 out of 10 or 15 Rips. The rip process gets to be crawling then stops with the error.
It says

ASPI Command Error,

ASPI SRB Status: 0x04
Interpretation: SRB completed with error

Host adapter Status: 0x00
Interpretation: Host adapter did not detect an error

Target Status: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: A8 00 00 0E 73 A1 00 00 00 01 00 00
Interpretation: Read(12) - Sector: 947105

Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 06 00 00 00 00 02 00
Interpretation: No seek complete

This is what the error mwessage says when useing DVD Decrypter.

The other DVD Rippers lock up.
With Smart Ripper I notice when the drive unlock window appears (first window to open when starting the program) and it goes threw the files it stops for a few seconds on certain vob files. Usually it flies threw the files.

If any one can give me a hint I would really appreciate it.

Only thing I can think of is that the DVD has somewhat weird CSS encryption -- normally running a software DVD player before the ripping process (while having the ripper open) solves the problem.

P.S. Love your sig file ;-)

I tried your suggestion but no luck.
I opened the ripper then opened the player. I used Xing player and Win DVD. I started the rip while the dvd player was still open but not playing the movie. I tried it playing the movie then put the movie in pause, then starting the rip process. Still no luck. This only happens once in a while. Out of 70 VCD's it has happened about 3 times.
There is a ripper that rips while the movie plays. Which ripper is this or do you know. I downloaded it from here before, but can't remember the name of it.
If you know which player do you need to use this ripper.

Oh yeah we all should donate, exspecially if you use the site. I will be donating again so thanks for the help.
