pleasant day ;

im burning an image to a cd , in the middle of the burnind process my system crashed .. so i reboot by pushing the start button ... but my cd writer led indicator starts flashing green and red alternatly ...and it wont detect my cd drive .. if i didnt eject it ...but it wont read any cd now...
does this mean my cd writer is dead ???
