I have to be able to play in Windows Media Player. UGH!!!!!

The presentation software I'm using uses Windows Player. I've ripped some DVD's to mpeg but Windows Media Player can't play them.

What do I need to do?

mpeg 1 or 2? win media has a problem playing SVCD for any length of time...convert to vcd
