Hi,
there seems to be lots of forum as to what Media is the best.
Does any one know what kind of media the production companies use? by that i mean the people that make dvd's that go into the video shops?
it would make sense to buy this kind of media
thanks

Unless you have a DUAL-LAYER DVD Drive you cannot use the same media as the movie studios. Most DVD burner drives are single-layer. The manufactorers of DVD drives are just starting to sell DUAL-LAYER dvd drives.

The DVD movies you purchase are NOT burned DVD's. They are pressed from a master disc. Thats why they usually won't go bad unless damaged and will play on anything.
