DVD43 not seeing movie

Been looking all over the forum and not seeing my problem so here goes
I have installed DVD 43 and patin coffin , both actually several times.
Everything seems to come up right but the smiley face stays yellow when I load the DVD movie, also I have put the movie in and rebooted so it would be there at start up. The old boys face is still yellow.
Are there any programs on my machine that could be causing this? From everything I have researched it seems like it should be a fault free program
Also I am running Windows 2000.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
