Hi Della;

I was reading problems and solutions in this forum to solve my lowid problem afterwards I read your suggestion which you wrote at http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/47085...

I have exactly the same problem..I have two computer are connected via LAN with one DSL connection to the internet...and I use two emule on these computers...One computer gets HighID and the other one LowID...I think it happens because of I'm using same IP for two emule clients(same as you wrote)...You suggested change the client port in emule settings and I want to know which port number should I use?

Today I wrote another thread but I couldn't get help for this..I'm pasting my former thread at the below and you can see my settings and configuration :

Hi ;

I have problem with my eMule id. I'm using eMule on the my home network which is connected two computer each other. Both of these computers o.s are WinXp(Home Edition).I set up my computer without any problem and I can connect to the internet with both computer at the same time. I have 776/288 BT Broadband DSL internet connection. In my network; one computer is always getting Highid with 3385732313(which the other computer is connectig to the internet directly by DSL modem) however the other one is getting lowid with 1077626...

I checked the http://www.emule-project.net connection test and both computers test are resulted in this message : success ... your id should be 3385732313 ... but when I connect to the eMule with second computer it always gets lowId...

I did this connection settings in eMule(in both computer):

Download : 72 kB/s
Upload : 36 kB/s
Download limit : 72 kB/s
Upload limit : 19 kB/s
TCP : 4662
UDP : 4672
Max sources (Hard limit=500 , Max connections=600)

and I also set the winXp firewall off and Norton Personal Firewall off

I do not use router . I have 8 port switch which is connected by cat5 , RJ45 network cables.

What should I do to get rid off these lowId problem???

Any idea or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks
