ive downloaded an avi file...and want to burn it to a vcd.ive tried all the possible programs to covert it to vcd..but couldnt. after 11 % it stops.ive tried tmpegc,flask mpeg,winmpg..even nero to convert..but cant get beyond 11%.Even if there is a flaw in the avi file itself,is there a more powerful avi-vcd converting tool i can use?

did you try playing the file with a media player to see if it works?

tmpge does the job..if the AVI is using divx video codec you have to run it through virtual dub and extract just the audio in wav format at 44.1 ..then reassemble in tmpge, if not just tmpge
