Xbox ram upgrade?

I've seen various sites offering to upgrade your Xbox ram from 64 up to 128mb. If your running a OEM system, would it really make any difference for in game performance?

pretty sure these upgrades are for the better end of emulation.

well alot of people run linux on there xbox and it makes a huge diffrence

the bottom line is that the xbox games are programed to use only 64 mb of ram thus having an upgrade in ram does nothing at all for xbox games.

i am sure it would help linux and other programs that can use the ram, but its probably not even worth it.
