TMPGEnc DVD Author Menu Button Questions

I have read the other threads and believe my question is unique.

Menus I have been able to make so far work well when I test in a DVD player except for one glaring stylistic flaw.

WHen I hover on or select one of the thumbnail images or banners, it turns a horrid yellow color, before the jump is made.

Looking at menus on some of the DVDs in my collection, I find that a fine black border will appear around a thumbnail when I perform a similar action, which is much more pleasant and doesn't detract from the menu's appearance.

How can I edit the hover effect on these menus, which, otherwise, work quite well?
