Kazaa fails to preview everything

Hello every1, I was wondering could anyone help me.

I'd like to avoid downloading fake movie files and audio files on kazaa because I have a 10 gig/month download limit (You'd be surprised how fast I fill it up!!).

I tried anything I could think of to preview music/movies but, it just shows a black screen and flickers a few times. It never does any more than that. It even did that with legit stuff I downloaded.

Can any1 help my to keep my downloads a bit smaller by telling me something I don't know??? I'd really appreciate it!!!
