Can I repair/access unfinalised DVR settop disc ?

I have a settop Pioneer DVR7000 for recording from TV. Some discs (poor media probably, because the stuff I use now always works) have failed to finalise so I can only read them on that machine. I read somewhere that it might be possible to recover the data using Decrypter. No luck so far. Any ideas please?

Computer spec if needed:
Pioneer DVR 106D
1000MB RAM; 200GIG fixed, and caddie HD's.
XP PRO
