I can't get backups to work

I have a matrix modded xbox with evox d6 bios and evolutionX 3752 and I can't get my otogi backup to work. When I put the game in it says game but when I try to play it, it acts like it is going to load and then it just goes back to the evolutionX screen. Please somebody help me.
