I am such a newbie the umbilical cord is still attached so please bear with me. I am interested in DVD back-up copies. Here is what I have DVD burner, Shrink 2.3 and currently using Creator 6 (will not copy audio) what do i need to successfully back up a DVD? I can get ahold of Nero 6 OEM Suite 1 or Nero 6.3 Ultra Version. Which one is better and will it work, what else do I need.
First off I'd suggest getting the newest version of DVD Shrink which is 3.1.7.6. This version will burn using Nero which is very nice.
Either version of Nero is good. OEM gives you the basics and Ultra has a whole slew of extra goodies - both will burn your DVDs.
The only other app I'd suggest getting besides Shrink and Nero would be DVD Decrypter for the occasional title Shrink can't cope with.
One big, big, big warning - if you do get Nero (I would) be sure to remove Roxio CD/DVD Creator before installing Nero. Roxio will prevent Nero from working properly and is inferior to Nero anyway.

Ok one step closer to freedom, I have uninstalled Roxio not an esay chore. I got a hold of Zapper60 to finish up the loose ends of Roxio. Not sure if I should say this but should and where would I place this download (Zapper60) for others in my situation. I would love to give back to those that may or have helped me.
