Help cannot play 3ivx movie properly

Hello,
I downloaded a short little 3ivx movie of the internet, but it wont play correctly. I downloaded the 3ivx codec obvioiusly, but the video is very choppy. The audio is fine... any help?

no,i have a 3 ghz cpu... from what ive heard, that does not classify as slow
