if i back up my ps2 dvd game on cd because it fits a 700 mb cd will it affect my system in anyway ?

Yo have to do more than just burn it. you have to get hex editor and edit it so that the ps2 thinks it's a cd. It's not worth it... trust me.

Yeah, i used to back up ps2 games onto Cd back when DVD Writers were high sky in terms of price and boy it took time and a lot of reading and work, it can get real tough, so Hanedrick is right, its not really worth unless you're not too fussed to put a hell of a lot of time to put it onto CD.
