Hi, I cannot find the firmware update for my HL-DT-ST DVD+RW GCA-4040N DVD burner.
I want to take the limited region changes off..

Hi boomy, I think your drive is actually a LG 4040 drive. Here is the firmware location for that drive. But you may have to change it to read as a true LG before the flash. Do some research on this same site.
