I recently received a batch of Ricoh DVD+R 4x media with the code JPNR01 which burn great up to 8x no problem, but some people have been saying there are problems with certain other codes like JPNR00 and also that the new Traxdata is no good with has code Ritek03 - does anyone else have problems with particular Ritek coded media as I would like to create a list of the good the bad and the ugly!!

Its about time we all saw which Ritek codes are good and which tend to be the downgraded media, by the way anyone who wants samples of the Ricoh media I have email me and I will send you some for testing but please report back your findings.

R03 dye has problems burning on Pioneer DVR107's without a firmware upgrade. With the upgrade they burn ok...

I have been using the Ridata DVD-R's with the Ritek G04 dye. I'm not sure what code they are, but they come in a package like this:

I have gone through almost 200 of them and the only coasters I've made where my fault.
