Hello!!!
Can anybody tell me an easy and fast way to add permanent subtitles to avi dvix files?
Please don't just say which programs to use but i will be very happy if i see a short description.

hi, you need to use a proggie called flaskmpeg. when you open your .ifo file in this program it gives you a list of audio streams and subtitle streams that you can select! simple as that.

another proggie that i have used in the past with good results is XMPEG 4.5a, very similar to Flaskmpeg

Well i use Dr Dvix to convert dvd to dvix so i need a program that adds subtitles to a dvix file.
