Ooops seems to be mixed veiws regarding the auto rolling 257 bin file ? Also is that update for cloned boxes ?

there is no mix up there is a v2.57 which was out first for the clone box which does not autoroll ok
Then there is a v2.57eu FIXED there as well this is for the clone also but autoroll people are just putting the wrong one on there box because they are not payin attention that is all
All the firmware is on the eko site at the bottom of my post

Hi Fergus, thats a fair point - I'm still not able to re-flash my box to make sure i have the auto enroll one - going to try another 232 cable today, see if that works.
One suggestion - perhaps it's worth removing the 2.57 that does not autoenroll, or renaming to something to clarify the difference, if people are using the wrong version?
Just a thought

I am sorry but i cant see the problem some people that have problems with there boxes need to reflash sometimes with the original firmware that came on their box so that need to stay there
Also if i said to you get the box that said v2.57eu FIXED on it and bring it home and there was a box with v2.57 eE on it which box would you bring home it is just a matter of people reading the posts and looking for the box as i said they need it is like the difference of a Merc and a Mini

Thanks for clearing that up Ferg ! I just wanted to make sure if i do decide to flash my box i use the correct bin file as ive previously lost a clone box in the past b4 the FIXED version came out ?

Any 1 wondering what firmware you use for the its the following:
Firmware for PVR:
BoxPVR_E_v4500_06Jul.bin
Loader:
PVR Loader v3.36s Sep 7 2005.exe
I noticed some people query this on other forums and threads so I thought it would help if its not on eko site let me know and I will upload it for you.

scouser i see people having problems entering codes and storing them,can it be said to press the ok button for 3 secs.to make sure codes are getting stored as pressing ok button briefly might not store them!

Hi guys, conversation overheard in N*L today that they are moving from d3 to d4 shortly, they have also received dellivery of pallets of new style decoders!!! Does this mean anything to any of you guys?

D3 to D4 God why would they move from the Northside to the Southside, (as thats a geographical reference you have used not a crypt one). The new decoders are more than likely the new Thompson DVRs and are not a wholesale swap out. If they wanted to change encryption they would just change the cards not the boxes. So Chinese whispers are pure speculation.

not sure if been asked before sorry if it has when going on to s*y drama you get commentry i presume for the blind does anyone know how to stop this if poss got wife on my case thanks in advance 4 any suggestions

martin press the audio button the scroll up or down on the cursor to switch it off could be right or left on the cursor as well not 100% sure try both ways ok
