Easydivx v0.82, sound does not fit to pictures

I have a technical question about Easydivx v0.82:
I tried to save a movie using Easydivx v0.82 following the steps in the program and when I wanted to watch the movie after finishing, I realized, that the sound runs about 1o seconds behind the pictures and that it seems to go less fast than the movie itself. In the end the sound even was at least 30 seconds behind.
What did I do wrong? Any suggestions?
