All of a sudden my new DVDs will not copy. Have the DVDs been encrypted with something new to prevent copying in the last two weeks? The burnibg process now lasts until the very end when it is formatting or 99% done. My Sony burner then freezes. Also shortcuts appear on my screen sometimes leading to to a media player. I can download the movie to my computer but I cannot burn it to a disk.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and or help.

Hi msk112939, This is just a guess without more information. Maybe you picked up a virus or a Hi Jacker trying to send you to that media player site.

Be careful about what your doing now, downloading blockbuster movies and copying is illegal and not permitted to be discussed on this website :-)

Hopefully he meant "Rip" the movie to his HDD. I'd hate to have to hunt him down and beat him with a coaster.
