Might have already been discussed but here it is anyway.

Came to me in a moment of briliance last night.

Right, get alcohol 120 and make an iso image on your computer. Nice one. Then you just get an emulator, daemon tools is a nice one, which makes fake drives and makes you computer thing that the image is an actual cd. But as you guys know this takes up disk space.

So I thought, why not just save the iso image directly onto the the cd, and then mount the iso image from the cd through daemon tools and still play the game. And voila, I backed up Generals perfectly with a 1 sheep burner. Works perfectly.

1. Try doing that with say UT2K4 and... assuming it works... observe as you ramp the settings, that it will get choppier and choppier as everything is bottlenecked by the CD drive.

2. ISO is crap. :P Small filesize but thats about it. :)
