I am trying to rip an interlaced movie using tmpgenc-2.50.32.120 . I have tried to deinterlace using a number of techniques but am having problems. First method i tried is setting Field A and then trying Inverse telecine with auto setting. 24fps Flicker was priortised and deinterlace was set to none. This didn't work. Tried field B, also didn't work. Then tried manual method, by seeing patterns between interlaced frames. I was able to find a pattern but it keeps changing. So i set different patterns at the change points. Problem is that at some parts I get all 5 frames being interlaced with very high flicker rates. Anybody have any suggestions on how to proceed with this problem?
