Can someone please help me, i've tried new codex,and the Tmd player, and i still can't get 2 or 3 of my movies to work, just get a black screen with no sound, but the player scrolls like it's playing.

Oh yes, those. You got them from a p2p filesharing utility i take it.

They are fakes. Some people think its great fun to spread fake movies around p2p networks!!!

If its one you ripped yourself, you have a problem

I was thinking it may be a dummy file. I used KazaaLite. I guess there is no way to weed them out? Any tips or help would be appreciated, because that's the 3rd dummy file i've gotten.

I assume that you share a bit yourself. If so get neo-modus Direct Connect. Its a bit hard to learn how to use but its great.

Also get edonkey2000 (http://www.edonkey2000.com) and then visit http://www.sharereactor.com.

Dela has given you the ultimate file sharing utility link if you care to keep from getting dummy files. sharereactor tests all files before putting edonkey2000 links from their site, so if you find it on their site, it's guaranteed to be exactly as advertised.

Just out of curiosity, have you loaded these codec packs just to make sure you have the latest and greatest?
