Hi, I've searched the forum and found similar problems but no answers fit my situation.

I've recently ventured into burning vcd/svcd from bin/cue image files. I've been using daemon tools to watch the movies on my computer but find it's not as relaxing as watching on my sofa in front of the tv.

My stand alone dvd player accomodates the burnt vcd/svcd but part way through, the images will skip/freeze but the audio will continue. No skipping/freezing of the audio occurs, just the video.

I use Nero 6.0, burning at 1x. Movies play fine using the computer playback but problems with the standalone dvd player.

I gave a copy of a movie to a friend (using the same software, same media, same burn speed) and he had no problems during playback on his standalone dvd player.

I think it might be a problem with my dvd player? Anybody else seem to have this problem.

The other topics relate to problems with dvd backups, but I have no problems with dvd backups. Is it something as simple as needing my dvd lense cleaned?
