Aladdin Advance 64 will not play DVDs (works ok with BackUps) !

Hi,

I have just got my second batch of aladdin chips and the first one I have set up (With Evox) will not play DVDs ! the first batch booted with a green logo with executer2 not microsoft and this new lot boot with a blue X logo but still with microsoft under. If I boot with a backup in the drive it is fine. If i boot with nothing and put in a DVD an choose DVD player from the evox dash it just says LOADING. the same as when i try the XBMP with no disc in the drive. all i get is loadidng.

Have I done something wrong ? ? ? I have had no problems with the first batch but this has me fuddled.

Please help as this xbox is not mine and it does not do what I said it would !
