sup guys.. my question is, i have a modded xbox right, do i need a dashboard(evox) to play burnt dvd-r games

no not at all, you need a dashboard if you plan on ftp'ing into the xbox to transfer your games to your PC. and to run certain apps and such. but as far as just playing, no you dont need a dashboard.

you just need to make sure you have a bios flashed on to your chip as this will allow you to play your backups ;)

naah not slipping man, just figured since he said the xbox was modded, he already got past the bios part. but i do have to wonder, how could someone mod an xbox and not check to see if it played burnt games? perhaps there is a problem and it didn't work and he thought he needed a dashboard as well as a bios.
