Hi all. I just bought a Memorex 48X12X48 CDRW. I am experiencing some problems. I am using Nero 5 Software. When I want to copy a music CD, it comes out with hickup's and pops and clicks on the burnt disk. I make sure to exit out of all programs that take up memory. I also copy the disk to my hard drive instead of on the fly. In fact, I have tried both. I have tried different types of medium including, memorex, varbatim and sony with no luck. The CD will copy and say it copied successfully but on playback, i get hickup's during the songs. I tried burning at all the different speed settings. I tried individually compliling a compliation by draging and dropping each track instead of coping the whole CD but still no luck. My machine is a Dell, PIII 600, with 320 megs of Ram. Using Win 2000 also. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!! Thanks all. -Paul

p.s. i forgot to mention that i have my hard drive on one IDE cable and my burner and my regular CD rom on the secondary IDE. The burner is set as master.
