Hi everybody,
It's more or less 9 months I'm recording DVD-R directly from TV movies, or moving movies from VHS to DVD-R.
I started using Studio 8 (now 9) from Pinnacle but, despite the easy editing interface, I've found too many bugs for me to go on using it.
I'm actually using Ulead DVD Movie Factory, and I think it's quite good.
I'd like to have good advices about other good (or better) programs, and also to swap opinions about program bugs and crashes (i.e. DVD Movie Factory often fails in audio - video coordination, etc.).
Thanks in advance,

Sergio

wassup....

i've used Dazzle DVD Complete to create my movies after i've captured it to my computer. It is pretty good and not very buggy..

lets you do:
menus and previews
re-encode video
capture from capture device to computer (built in)
import music from cds to use as intro music/background
full moving backgrounds and thumbnails for menus
simple to use interface (not a tall learning curve involved)
and more!

premiere is great too, but pretty pricey and advanced interface

just my .02.. again.. :-)
peace

Thanks, I'll try the program you're suggesting.
Considering you're so kind (I apoligize in advance!!!), I ask you another question: the online manual of my RADEON 8500 is not too much deep about it, and I actually capture video with MPEG2 format, 800 k/sec COSTANT. Which difference is there between COSTANT and VARIABLE, concerning resolution?
Thanks again,

Sergio

I currently use Adobe Premier Pro 7 and its extremely stable, with great results. Seamonkey is right though; it's pricey and is a little more advanced. I reccomend trying out Dazzle DVD Complete and if you want, trying Premiere.
