I have a Panasonic PV-GS50D, it's about 4 months old and it no longer records. If I hit record, the timer does not move. I can fast forward and rewind, but when I try to play tapes that I know have content, I get just the blue screen (again, no movement from the timer). I have tried a cleaning tape to no avail. There was a previous post specific to JVC and there was no solution posted. Any advice would be appreciated. Panasonic will charge $140 just on labor to look at the darn thing. It's 4 months old, it should not be dead already!
