Hi,

I'd suggest starting with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. Check out the guides for both in our Guides section to get started.

Ripping with DVD Decrypter and shrinking with DVD Shrink makes good backup's.

All software is free.

If you do not check Burn with Nero, DVD Decrypter will burn it after DVD Shrink has compressed it.

I *know* you meant to say DVD Decrypter will burn if if it's backed up as an ISO image.
