Hello, Ive been looking over the posts here for a few days, Ive been able to succesfully download and use: shrink 3.1,dvd decrypter, and nero 6 to burn copies. Prior to this site Ive been using dvd x copy platinum which Ive set to the side to expand my horizons. The reason for my post is I have had 2(5) dvds that I turned into coasters, specifically they burned with ease, though when I played them in my standalone or my pc they got stuck after I hit play on the main menu. it showed the warning screens then continued to the 2nd chapter which says the "interviews and commentaries are for entertainment only" etc.This screen continues to repeat Until I hit the next chapter button. sort of like a disc that skips in your cd player only with a video. When the next chapter button is hit the "special features" screen shows up (it should be the movie). ive re-burned "basic" using the programs mentioned above keeping in vob format and in iso with the same results, I use the "automatic method" for both nero and decryptor after using shrink. I have had to go back to dvd x copy platinum to have success on these movies. any ideas why this might be happening? oh yes and I did not reauther anything I just removed the auido, and subpictures in languages other then english. I did this by un-checking them in shrink. My setup is:
burner: sony dru-530A(firmware is updated)
pc: amd athlon 1.2 ghz, 640 mb ram, 40 gb hd, and Im using windows xp professional.
vid card: geforce mx 400
media: memorex dvd+r's (Ive just ordered some ritek +r's from meritline per all the praise about this brand.) I dont think they make the go3 grade a's in +r's.. I hope that doesnt matter.
If searched the forums with no success, any help here would be appreciated.
