Hi I am new to the computer game and I have a lot of questions and want to learn. A friend told me that you can burn a DVD to a cd-r is this true if so how do I do it I have downloaded the free ripping software but do not know if I need anything else or how to do it I need someone that is willing to walk me through it step by step. What kind of cd's should I use to burn a dvd on I also want to rip and burn protected dvds if anyone can help

R.I.P., Me thinks you might be confused, or it could be me -

Your thread says "Burning DVD?s" and you want to burn CDs. There is a difference,

If you want to rip a DVD and burn it to a CD then you might want to use DVD2SVCD (The program) and you might want to go to VCD/SVCD (The forum).

Perhaps a Mod can transport you there


If in fact you want to burn DVD?s, I suggest you post your question more to that topic -
