I've had a load of emails and a good few posts regarding the Piodata 8x DVD-R.

The disc is an OEM manufactured product on behalf of Pioneer. It will be a high quality disc. The confusion is to who actually carries out the OEM manufacturing. I've had emails from people who have said they have been told the PioData are made by Ritek - I am aware that some companies (scan.co.uk) are advertising the PioData as Ritek G04 - so maybe they did for the 4x media??

PioData 8x, as far as i have seen are manufactured by the quality company Taiyo-Yuden, hence the price of at least $1.50 a disc in spindles and more for the discs in cases.

Looking for clarification from those who have it...

Quality of Piodata is definately good.
Bought Acard 1 to 1 duplicator at home. I have been copying my digital photos/movies/games for the last 5 days.
Not a single failure!!! and that is about 75 disks so far !!
