It always makes me laugh when someone doesn't consider a 13 billion dollar "US" industry as legit. Worldwide it's much higher.

Just because these people make billions of dollars a year, how does that make them "legit"?. It's the same thing as saying the Tobacco Industry, a Pirate Torrent site, some Coffee (dishonest fair trade) companies or even the Mafia are a legit "business" because they make billions a year. If you don?t know about the scandals that have happened with most of these companies, especially the Tobacco and Porn industry, then do your homework.

Numbers aside, since when was it ever considered filming another person sucking d**k considered a "legit" business, or Photoshopping a Celebrities face in a porno picture and selling it? Or maybe you forgot what goes on behind the scenes. "Producers" treating the "actors" like s**t, child porn tapes being sold/downloaded, a number of actors that have contracted HIV, or even some cases of female actors "accidently" becoming pregnant.
Another example of this industry being "legit", was years ago a sicko called Rufus FFoulkes, was jailed for putting a 16-year-old in a porn film. Guess what? That 16-year-old contracted HIV because of this.
So think about this the next time the both of you pull out some tissues in your parent's house and make a daily deposit in the wackoff factory.

Yeah and you tell me when violent video games became "legit". You must be a right-winger, yet incredibly hypocritical in that you'd probably approve any violence and/or swearing in a video game or film all the while 'oh no! don't let the children see nudity!'.
I'm going to wank some more! New stuff from my favourite stars like Jesse Jane and Sammie Rhodes.
If people buy it, if it is legally made (we have tons of laws in place to ensure mistakes are mitigated, but how in the hell do you expect to not make any mistakes?), then it is 100% legit. Until it is banned, it is legit. The law says what's legit and what's not and I'm glad you're not the law.
And I know you're oh so ready with those 'you must have no life'-type comments, and 'never had a girlfriend' etc etc. Go ahead.

Ok, you got my point all wrong. Your comment about video games has nothing to do with what I said. I have nothing against video games. Obviously you don't see my gamertag underneath...lol.
How am I hypocritical? Tell me, I would really like to know. I'm basically stating the facts of why these companies can be considered non-legit, and the shit that goes on behind the scenes that supports my statements.
If you want to look at porn, that's none of my concern, I have nothing against that, like I said before it's what happens when creating that porn that you clearly fail to acknowledge.
Quote: If people buy it, if it is legally made (we have tons of laws in place to ensure mistakes are mitigated, but how in the hell do you expect to not make any mistakes?), then it is 100% legit. A company is either legit or non-legit. None of this semi-legit or 80% legit nonsense. Expand your mental capacity and views a bit, and research some of the shit that has gone on behind the scenes with the porn, tobacco, and coffee trade industries, then maybe you understand my point. Just because it's not banned by the "law", that makes it all right? Maybe you can also research on why some "laws" in many countries aren't so perfect as you praise them to be.
Quote: And I know you're oh so ready with those 'you must have no life'-type comments, and 'never had a girlfriend' etc etc. Go ahead.
I'm not here to start a flame war with you buddy, just next time you might consider researching and backing up your statements first. Didn't they teach you in high school on how to backup your statements in your paragraphs & essays?

Define legit, If they pay taxes then they are legit. I think the porn industry is a disgrace anyway. I would hope that the loses would shut them down. But as for a law suit, they have a right to persue it. If you look at it strickly as a buisness, they have overhead and exspenses to recover. Until they make adult films illegal, then they have a right to do what they need to do.

Playboy legit, Penthouse legit, yes. They do the same things but people dont make photocopies and upload/download them very often. This is just an industry going for the money they deserve because the providers said "screw u, we sell it and keep the money."
