Hello
I'm really new to modchips. I was reading all types of directions on how to "Flash the chip"....and I have to say, -I don't have any idea what I'm doing...

I managed to operate MIRC & get the proper files...but now I'm stuck. Craxtion. Yes, Craxtion. I was almost at the end part of creating the disk, & Craxtion gave me an "Error '429'", about ActiveX not being able to create an image. I've tried all sollutions from their official website....&....no dice. Some people on Craxtion forums just had to give up. I'm about at that point.

ANYWAY! -TO THE POINT OF THIS THREAD:
Is there anybody I can hookup with on MSN messenger who can transfer to me that one & only, most important ISO file? Or maybe somebody can mail me the disk through the postal service...

There would not be any words in the english language to express the infinite amount of gratitude I would hold, for the person that helps me out in this dark hour! °sniff°

What chip do you have in your xbox and what version is your xbox

I have a Xecuter 2.3b lite plus in my 'box.
I'm not too sure what version it is... It was manufactured 10-16-2003. I can tell it has a samsung & Focus chip.

You don't have to make an ISO for the BIOS disc. Just burn the 512k BIOS file and a dummy file with Nero (or whatever).

dude relax, no one here is jesus christ. like snoosy said you dont need to make an iso of your bios.bin file.. burn that along with a dummy file and it should work. youll need to make an .iso of your evox file with craxtion in order for you evox to work.

good thing to do, is find a tutorial FIRST!!!
x2bm is a great app for help with making your bios disc

your best bet before doing anything, is read a load of stuff first, do your research, theres a ton of help and many questions already answered.

dont know if this helps, but many moons ago, I was told to make a bios disc this way
aaa.zip
BIOS.BIN
zzz.zip
(both zip files being around 60mb)
it might mean nothing, but works every time
