Google's Andy Rubin has revealed this week that the upcoming Android firmware, version 2.2 (froyo) will have built-in full Flash support. Rubin managed to take a subtle shot at Apple during the interview with the NYTimes, in regards to the "openness" of the Android operating system. According to the Adobe website: "Adobe Flash Player 10 is coming to Android 2.0 and future releases in the first half of 2010"

I would still be surprised to see it included in 2.2, flash is a download on every other platform...so why should Android be any different?

well in Google Chrome, flash is built into it, so they're likely to do the same for their mobile OS
