Hi i download films and then do the Virtual Dub settings and compress the audio ...... then with that file i load up TMPGEnc and choose the normal NTSC mode and then encode -- after about 8-10 hrs when its finished i use IFOedit to get the vob files and finally once vob files are created i burn all with NERO and thats it finished.....

Once i play them on my DVD the film is perfectly burnt like it once was as the AVI file . but the problem ive found is when i go round "my mates houses"! and play my movies on their dvd's they either freeze- break up or are just plain crap . ( crap quality ) aswell , but they are working fine again when i try on my dvd player. ive tried doing it on different blanks and same happens...

Should i be using PAL mode instead of NTSC when encoding and what difference will that make? ..

But why else would this happen???
its happened on 3 other dvd players, my 2 in my house work's fine....

Confused
