Hi, i have a iso file that is 730mb and only a cd-r writer...... i read that you can rip or " rape" files from it to make it 700mb .....???
but it doesnt tell me how to do it??? is there a program>>??
You don't have read the 'sticky' threads in the main page. You must speak of 'sectors' not 'data size'. A sector contains 2048 bytes of data (high precision needed) and up to 2352 bytes of audio (low precision needed).
An image is more sophisticated than a file, because you have ECC (error detection codes) and EDC (error correction codes) that make and image more 'solid' (i.e. more redundant) than a file. Therefore, you can burn very large images on small CDs (read the threads for a more precise quantification).
