Greetings:

After using DVDDecryptor to extract my DVD Pal system to my HD, I use Tmpgenc to convert the *.VOB file to NTSC format. I got two files *.M2V & *.M2P. How can I make a DVD out of this 2 files?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

You could also use DVD-Lab which i find better than TMPGEnc DVD Author!

To make sure the audio is fully compliant you can encode it to AC3 with AC3Machine (try a google search for this) or even better, AC3Enc that comes with Sonic Scenarist.

Thank you for your help.

When I play back the *.m2v file on my computer, I have picture but no sound? Am I missing something?

The TMPGEnc stream type is ES(Video + Audio) and is set for DVD NTSC (North America & Japan) (Mpeg-2 720x480 29.97fps CQ65, Layer-2 48000Hz 384 kbps)

Open the msv file in a software dvd player, if windvd, just open windvd and drag the file into it, there will be no sound as this is just the MPEG-2 video stream!

Hi pwangdel,

The M2V file contains only the video.

Free DVD authoring tools:
- DVDAuthorGui: http://users.adelphia.net/~liquid64/dvdauthorgui.html
- DVD Styler: http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvdstyler

DVD-Lab Pro has sort of cleaned up the mess DVD-Lab gave to some of us (like Menu's not working at all!). I tested DVD-Lab Pro the other day using a BMG menu instead of a VTS menu and I was extremely impressed, but thats beside the point. It is pretty good at authoring and not that hard to get used to so I'd really suggest to anyone to check it out!

Thanks, Dela, I will give it a shot when I get a chance. My computer is down at the moment.
