I made a stupid mistake and when i tired to burn a .ISO file with Nero, it had the "DVD-Rom Booktype" checked. The DVD is probably a lost cause but, can i format it @ all because its a +RW or is this RW dead?

You should still be able to format it. The -ROM setting will revert back to +RW. No damage done. :)
