Have 2 computers and both have the same DVD RW in them,an NEC DVD_RW ND 2500A
One of the computers is a brand new Time computer with an AMD Athlon 64 processor.
My problem is that when I try to burn a DVD on the new Time computer the burn speed is fixed at 2.4,but on the older computer it can be changed to 4x.
It isn,t the media cos I can put the same disc in both machines and the same thing happens!
How do I solve this so the new Time burns at 4x?
Its not the firmware version as both are the same.If I run Nero 6 info tool both have exactly the same settings checked except that the older computer has ASPI while the new one doesn't.
Can anyone help cos its beginning to annoy me know?
