You have run backup from the evox "system utils" menu, right? It will then place the backup folder into the c: partition.
No, you can't copy the folder from someone elses box as it contains information specific to your xbox.

hmm... it would normally be un the system management menu (or whatever you decided to call the system subfolder). ftp into your box and edit "evox.ini".
There should be a line in the menu portion of the .ini (you'll see all the things that are displayed on your screen here, such as "game management on hdd" and so on). There MIGHT be a line in there somewhere that says something like this: item,"backup","blah blah". If you see it it's most likely commented out with a # in front of it. Remove the # and save the .ini. If that's the case, your done. If not, you will have to add the line (assuming your version of evoX has the util. I don't think there's a version of evoX without it though. Go to www.xbox-scene.com and look for the evoX tutorials there. They should be able to help you find what you're looking for.

if you used slayers(looks to me like you did from the way the menu is setup) there will be no option on the hard drive to backup

you have to boot the cd and there is a backup option on that

ah. so slayers doesn't include the backup utility, eh? I've never used slayers before. Sorry for all of that "commented out" mumbo jumbo :P.
